You will see the URL for the new version of the rules_du_jour script listed right from the http://www.rulesemporium.com/rules.htm page at the top. I second that. And i would not call it an enhancement, but a bug, because it hinders new updates. Especially because of the danger of a spammer taking that old host and url to sneak in some whitelisting for his spam, and for not getting that annoying -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WARNING: YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THIS RULESET from COMCAST. I am TERMINATING THIS ACCOUNT. Someone else will eventually have control of this webspace, possibly a malicious spammer. STOP using RDJ on this file *NOW* Also, make note of the fact that this file is for users of SA 2.64 and below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- every f*cking day... (remember: this is SA 3.1.3 here.) This does definitely not mean that i'm *expecting* others to fix this in ter precious free time. Just that it would be very nice. :) I could even temporarly lend a hand in doing that... if someone tells me what to do exactly. (Because i've not much knowledge of ebuilds*.) Please, please... thank you... * [and of the english language this night ;] Navid, please remove ANTIDRUG from your trusted rulesets from /etc/rulesdujour/config and copy the new version of the rules_du_jour script over your current one. No reason for you to wait for an updated ebuild. That will stop the warnings. If you use German language rulesets, I seem to recall URLs changing previously as well. From my limited understanding it looks like no actual ebuild changes are needed they just need to name it to a newer version number and make a new tarball to put on gentoo's servers to update it. An alternative is to use the new spamassassin sa-update method as showing in http://daryl.dostech.ca/sa-update/sare/sare-sa-update-howto.txt personally I like rules_du_jour *** Bug 166097 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** spamassassin-ruledujour-20070224 rolled and released now. |
