cm is supposed to be able to run in a number of lisp/scheme implementations. I don't have any lisp installed, so cm started guile up here.

Xemacs support in the ebuild is non-existent at the moment.

with sbcl also installed, I get:

debugger invoked on a SIMPLE-ERROR in thread #<THREAD "initial thread" {1002393351}>:
  Error during processing of --eval option "(progn (load \"/usr/share/cm/bin/../src/cm.lisp\" :verbose nil) (cm))":

  "/usr/share/cm/bin/../cm.asd" does not exist.

why would we not use cm.el as SITEFILE?
does it work for XEmacs?

full-featured ebuild now in tree. Tests depends on csh and timidity and fails under guile even before needing those. I'll email the author about that. Emacs support not used yet. Tested startup under sbcl-1.0.1 and guile-1.8.

Success stories of other implementations welcome.
