You mean stabilize sys-apps/dbus-1.0.2 for dev-libs/dbus-glib-0.72 ?

  RDEPEND.bad                    5
   dev-libs/dbus-glib/dbus-glib-0.72.ebuild: x86(default-linux/x86/2006.1) ['>=sys-apps/dbus-0.94']
Comment 4 Doug Goldstein (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 03:19:00 UTC
ticho: they're inter-dependant. If you stabilize this package, it will *TECHNICALLY* compile against dbus-0.62 but will give collision-protect errors. But if you stabilize only dbus-1.0.2, then no glib bindings will be available for packages and ALL of GNOME will break.
Comment 5 nixnut (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 09:04:46 UTC
Stable on ppc
Comment 6 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 09:14:32 UTC
ppc64 stable

Please, include this info next time multiple packages need to be at certain versions in order to work. Perhaps all these 3-4 dbus packages in one bug would be better in this case.

Comment 13 Doug Goldstein (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-04-16 16:05:11 UTC
You guys currently have an invalid configuration. You keyworded dbus-1.x but never keyworded dbus-glib. This fails QA and is an invalid way to keywords since they cross depend. This was brought up by Mr Bones a few weeks ago and I mentioned it to eroyf as well.

Please fix ASAP.
Comment 14 Alexander Færøy 2007-04-18 13:25:13 UTC
i have marked -0.73 ~mips today.
Comment 15 Joshua Kinard gentoo-dev 2007-05-13 07:17:20 UTC
0.73 is stable on mips, along w/ with its trusty, tights-wearing sidekick, dbus-1.0.2-r2. bam! biff! pow! kthwack! What a duo!
