There is a quite useful collection of C++ Class library called POCO (POrtable COmponents) which i would like to see in portage ;-).

Attached with this bug there is a simple, initial ebuild for it.

The ebuild works with poco-1.3.1 as well.
Hope it gets into Portage.

It seems that gentoo developers are too lazy or too busy fighting themselves instead of working properly on their distribution or care about user's bug reports and ebuild request. In one year no one at gentoo was able to review this short ebuild. I left Gentoo a long time ago and I don't want to care about it anymore. Sorry guys, I'm closing this bug by myself. This is once and for all a farewell.

Hey!
I appreciate you having written the ebuild, but now you've really screwed up.
You could have just left the bug open if you weren't interested in it being fixed nor were you eager to help any more. Note, that you are not the only one interested in PoCo getting into Portage. How do I reopen it now?
Please keep in mind, that there just may not be enough maintainters out there, or there really ARE more important things to do.
As you may have probably noticed, the bug is assigned to "Default Assignee for New Packages <maintainer-wanted@gentoo.org>", which speaks for itself. Anyway, I'm planning on becoming a maintainer in the nearest future myself, as I can see there are more and more missing or lonely ebuilds out there.
I would be thankful if you could please reopen the bug. I hope you, as the reporter, have that possibility, because I'm missing it somehow.

Poco 1.3.2 ebuild

The other ebuild lacked alot of options. It default to without odbc and ssl. This one allows for odbc/ssl or ssl or without either. And it compiles now.

Fixed the ebuild due to some feedback. If you find any bugs. Let me know and ill fix em.

Fixed the missing " bug, removed it.
Removed the sed because it wasn't needed. And only made it not compile.
