No, definitely not. Go check Bug 142197 and FDO specs. Created attachment 107425 [details] Proposed 0.8.1-r3.ebuild The proposed ebuild modifies the --with-kdessconfigdir flag at econf time. It also addresses bug #138935. As said, the location is correct. Well then but, How to get KDE Control Center to detect the screen savers? Why is that XScreenSaver does not install the .desktop files to the same location as #142197 specifies? File a bug about kde-base/kcontrol if it doesn't detect them in a proper location; also xscreensaver is wrong and shouldn't install stuff there. My friend, it is still wrong. The screen savers appear in K menu's "Lost & Found" submenu. Believe me, there are other applications at /usr/share applications. If you like, let us address this discussion at bug #142197. Already told you to file a *new* bug about kcontrol; don't clutter two different RESOLVED bugs with this. Thanks. If the desktop entries are wrong (you can emerge dev-util/desktop-file-utils and check with desktop-file-validate) then file a new bug as well. The location is correct, nothing to be done here. |
