gnome-obex-send doesn't work because of a bug in version 0.8.1. So it's impossible, for example, to send a file from your gentoo to your phone...

I copied the 0.8.1 ebuild to my local overlay and I just renamed it to "libbtctl-0.8.2.ebuild"; I created the digest and emerged it, now the transfer works.

Just got a bunch of emails regarding this bug.  I don't know how it got assigned to packages.gentoo.org.  In general, if you don't know who to assign a bug to, assign it to Gentoo Linux/ebuilds.
