Description Patrick Dause 2003-02-23 02:14:11 UTC
I have been trying to install gentoo on a compaq presario 2110 laptop, but I
can't get past the keymap selection, actually I can't enter anything at all
after bootup. I don't think it is locked up, it's like my keyboard is not
being recognized. I have tried all the boot options acpi=off (which by the
way is listed as acpi=no under f2 in the boot screen. I have to have this to
boot period otherwise it hangs), nousb, noapic, etc. but still nothing. I've
tried an external keyboard and still the same. Any help would be appreciated.

Reproducible: Always

Please try the latest LiveCD and reopen this bug if the problem persists.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
