CFLAGS="-march=k8 -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" and LDFLAGS without -Wl,--as-needed lets ffmpeg compile fine.

If I add -combine to CFLAGS ffmpeg does not compile

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Add -combine to CFLAGS
emerge -av ffmpeg
compile does fail
Actual Results:  
compile does fail

Expected Results:  
compile does work fine
