around the bit that says "For your kernel to function properly, there are several
options that you will need to ensure are in the kernel proper", it should mention
that powerbook/ibook users need to enable 'ADB' to get their keyboards/mice to
work.  myself (and many i've talked to) don't realise that the laptop keyboards
use adb.
