maybe a note or a warning should be added, but this should also be fixed on the stage files Yes, I forgot to suggest that as an interim solution: Add something like the following to the documentation until the stage tarballs are fixed: Some users report problems with installation of a symlink necessary to make grub find the kernel image and splash image. Be sure to have that symlink by typing: ln -s .... I'd rather see the grub.conf use (hd0,0)/vmlinuz and have a warning that, if /boot isn't on a seperate partition, you need to write (hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz. It seems to be fixed in all our current stages. I'm marking this bug as fixed. |
