Bug 160289 – coreutils link interferes with vim-core-7.0.17 configure

I tried emerging vim-core 7.0.17 and at the end of the configure I got this error message:

The same error message occurs when I try to emerge vim-7.0.17

/var/tmp/portage/vim-core-7.0.17/work/vim7/src/auto/config.mk on line 89-90 reads like this:

STRIP           = /bin/true
/usr/bin/true faking strip

However, /usr/bin/true is a link to /bin/true which belongs to coreutils

I temporarily removed the symlink in /usr/bin/true and the configuration (and compilation) of vim-core and vim (both 7.0.17) went just fine. So far, I am happy, but I wanted to report this for the developers.
