Hmm, thats really odd. What version of gtkmm do you have installed (In reply to comment #2) > Hmm, thats really odd. What version of gtkmm do you have installed > The lastest stable version available for x86: 2.8.3 CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -mtune=athlon-xp -fomit-frame-pointer -ftracer -fprefetch-loop-arrays -pipe" I'm no CFLAGS expert, but that doesn't look right to me. Why do you have march and mtune? I just reemerged dvdrip with the following dependencies: [ebuild N ] dev-perl/Event-RPC-0.90 0 kB [ebuild N ] dev-perl/libintl-perl-1.16 0 kB [ebuild N ] dev-perl/gtk2-ex-formfactory-0.65-r1 0 kB [ebuild N ] dev-perl/AnyEvent-1.02 0 kB [ebuild N ] dev-perl/Event-ExecFlow-0.62 0 kB [ebuild N ] media-video/dvdrip-0.98.1 USE="hal mplayer ogg vcd vorbis xvid -fping -subtitles -xine" 0 kB Then I tried to start it: $ dvdrip Can't locate object method "signal_connect" via package "Gtk2::EventBox" at /usr/bin/dvdrip-splash line 39. [filterlist] (re)scanning transcode's module path /usr/lib/transcode... Can't locate object method "set" via package "Gtk2::VBox" at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/Gtk2/Ex/FormFactory/Layout.pm line 173. Since this has not been resolved I would suggest to reopen this bug. I have a pure x86 system except the kernel (emission, beyond) and beryl. Martin, I still believe the problem is with your CFLAGS. I would recommend hopping on dvdrip-users mailing lists and seeing if they can help you. I'm at a loss, myself. http://www.exit1.org/dvdrip/list.cipp |
