CCing remaining arches, please test and stabilize... Can we get bug #147006 fixed first? Stable on Alpha. This is no where near ready for stable usb_device does not set sane permissions. # usbfs-like device nodes SUBSYSTEM=="usb_device", PROGRAM="/bin/sh -c 'K=%k; K=$${K#usbdev}; printf bus/usb/%%03i/%%03i $${K%%%%.*} $${K#*.}'", NAME="%c", MODE="0644" Group should be set to plugdev and mode should be changed to 0660 IMHO. Without these changes alot of users have to modify the rule in order for the users account to use certain digital cameras. (In reply to comment #3) > Stable on Alpha. Doesn't look like that... :) Removing arches until we decide which 104 revision to stabilize, lots of bugfixes there. *** Bug 164751 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** If nothing unplanned happens we should stable udev-104-r9. x86 stable sparc stable. Stable for HPPA. ppc64 stable I wish I could vote for this :-) (on AMD64) I just run into udev-087-r1 issue where the group for lp0 was set to 'plugdev' instead of 'lp' in spite of the GROUP="lp" rule in 50-udev.rules, which caused printing malfunction since the printer driver is run as 'lp' upgrading to the latest version (104-r9) solved the problem Stable on amd64. alpha done Marked ppc stable. Ok, to get blacklisting working in its full sense (Bug 130766), we added another revision (udev-104-r10) that should make it into 2007.0. This contains a modprobe wrapper to allow blacklisting of modules not being pci/usb-modaliases. To make the blacklist keyword finally manage it into modprobe.conf with update-modules one additionally needs >=baselayout-1.12.9 which already has a stable bug for 2007.0 (bug 158637). x86 stable Stable for HPPA. sparc stable. Sorry guys to bug you once more, but I have fixed another annoying thing: Now to be stabled: udev-104-r11. Bug #166486 catches one if new NIC is added almost every time. The original bug is solved since 104-r9 is stable on amd64 Please don't touch! There's an open request for a NEWER rev of udev if you check the info. Stable for HPPA. x86 stable sparc stable. Stable on Alpha + IA64. Stable on amd64. Marked ppc stable. ppc64 stable Removing 156814 since mips has a 087 stable, which will work fine with the release materials. I promise this is the last time to get a revision stable for release 2007.0, but: Please stable udev-104-r12 for being included in release 2007.0. This one solves Bug #166990. sparc stable. Where's that 107? :D x86 stable. Stable for HPPA. Stable on ppc ppc64 stable amd64 stable alpha done mips stable. |
