Hi!

I suggest that we create a new ebuild, ati-legacy-drivers, just as it has been done with nvidia-drivers. This is for the dropped R250 (Maybe even R200?) chipset support in the more recent ati-drivers. I managed to get my R250 work with ati-drivers-2.28.8 so therefore I suggest we just copy that ebuild and call it ati-legacy-drivers. I've also filed a bug about correcting the ebuilds descriptions (Bug #159343)
