mythbackend crash info
I have had a second crash with the same sort of failure. It's about 3 weeks since I posted the first crash and haven't received a response of any type so far. Attaching tonight's crash results after this posting. Created attachment 107232 [details]
mythbackend crash - 2nd time
None of the crashes are happening in MythTV code. All your crashes are happening in glibc which is odd. It's possible that something is just screwy with your system. If you say it's under high load then it could be a chipset/memory/kernel issue. It could also be heat flipping a bit. There really is no code that can be fixed or any magical fix. If you did the same thing on a totally different box, then it would run fine. Since the time I posted these crashes I switched back to a UP kernel. The crashes almost never happen now. Once every 2 weeks instead of twice a day. While this is better it's not perfect. It might possibly be a heat issue. That's a good thing for me to check. With the SMP kernel it did seem to happen under heavy load like when we were recording two programs while at the same time running transcode on two programs. I'll see about getting better fans. Well glad it's getting better. It sounds like it's hardware/heat related for sure. |
