vm-arm currently depends on wxGTK-2.4, which we've recently begun to phase out of the tree (bug #145032). it requires wxGTK to be built with the wxgtk1 USE flag which is not supported in 2.6. according to the vm-arm FAQ[i], wxGTK is optional. it's also a possibility that it actually does work with 2.6, but would you guys consider dropping wxGTK support if it doesn't? [1] libwx_gtk-2.4.so this is a dynamic library that implements the wxWidgets graphics toolkit for the GTK environment. Functions from this library are are used to emulate the LCD screen for the Zaurus and are a pre-requisite to run the vm-pda simulator. However, the vm-arm simulator does not provide this graphics functionality and does not require these libraries. Therefore, it is possible to use VM-arm even if these libraries are not available. http://www.virtera.com/index.php?module=faq&FAQ_op=view&FAQ_id=4 ping? we're removing 2.4 Real Soon Now. removed from cvs as the company has killed this product |
