Hi!
The current version of nicotine+ on portage is 1.2.3, so is very old. The last version is 1.2.6, released the October 21th.

There are a little changes on the ebuild, the SRC_URI has changed to sourceforge and isn't needed to add the .desktop and the icon manually.
