Description Jungmin Seo (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-17 16:47:00 UTC
This is about /etc/inputrc. On line 16, it says,

# set input-meta on

Without uncommenting this line on shells, (probably all the applications using
'readline'), it fails to write in korean.

Can we uncomment it by default? Is there a reason why it is commented?

comments.

Hmm, I don't really have a good answer for this here... I'll see what I can dig up

/etc/inputrc

Actually, I did fix this some time ago .. this should be the inputrc that is
with baselayout-1.8.6.2 that has been around for a while ...
Comment 5 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-24 09:28:45 UTC
This is also the inputrc for current stable baselayout. Please remove your
/etc/inputrc and remerge baselayout.

Bug is invalid.
