Uhm, don't really think that applying experimental patches unsupported upstream is the best idea... <snip> Kopete developer asked me whether I would like to develop this patch in the svn branch of kopete and port it to QT4. I must confess this eventuality is attracting, I should however work a little more on that patch before giving an answer. Furthermore my knowledge about differences between QT4 and QT3 is somewhere near zero. </snip> You should try to convince the author to merge this upstream instead. :) No, this is not a version bump at all; it's not a supported patch; it's not going into the tree. I'll write a rant about the status of Kopete so it can be clear why this happens, I'm quite sorry about dismissing this, but Kopete is too fragile to start adding this too :/ Ok, this was only an idea :) |
