Hi!
I couldn't get flite to "speak" while I was playing music. I found this patch, that applies perfectly, and I only needed to add one line to the ebuild. Here is the patch and the new ebuild.

(I bet it would be a nice addition to flite 1.3 whenever it enters portage)

Please, attach to the other bug, or yet better send this upstream. The whole thing is pretty broken.

See the bottom of http://www.speech.cs.cmu.edu/flite/ for contacts; they don't seem to have any bug tracker or anything like that.
