Hi,

when installing postgresql-8.0.9, portage ends with the following message:

All of PostgreSQL successfully made. Ready to install.
make -C src/test check
make: *** src/test: No such file or directory.  Stop.
make: *** [check] Error 2

so the merge fails.

emerge --info, where you can see that the 'test' feature is turned on

You have to turn on the test USE-flag as well.
