Which version of linux-wlan-ng is the problematic one? 0.1.16_pre6 is the latest stable marked version, and that installs the init script in /etc/init.d as it should on my system. I just retested all the different versions in portage, and they all seem to put the init scrip in the correct spot. You might have used an older ebuild, try syncing and merging again. seemingly dead. marking WONTFIX |
