Hi,

Some packages still need <expat-2.0.0, while others use =expat-2.0.0; I changed the slot for expat-2.0.0 into "1", recreated md5sum for the ebuild, downgraded to 1.95.8, and then installed expat-2.0.0 newly into slot "1"; it works, but libexpat.so is somewhat ambiguous...

Can it be resolved widely?

No, we are not going to slot expat, it's totally unsafe.
