After upgrading to kde3.1 kbear and kuickshow dont run anymore, I tried to recompile kbear and kuickshow after updating kde. I get similar Errors in both of the programs, here is the kuickshow error: $ kuickshow kio (KSycoca): WARNING: Found version 49, expecting version 60 or higher. kio (KSycoca): WARNING: Outdated database found kio (KMimeType): WARNING: KServiceType::offers : servicetype ThumbCreator not found kio (KSycoca): WARNING: Found version 49, expecting version 60 or higher. kio (KSycoca): WARNING: Outdated database found kuickshow: ERROR: ERROR 3: couldn't create slave : Aufruf des Ein/Ausgabe-Moduls nicht möglich. klauncher meldet: Unbekanntes Protokoll "file".
