Description mikael lammentausta 2006-12-03 11:33:35 UTC
This looks like a GCC incompitibility bug.
I have these installed:

 $ eix -c parted
[N] dev-python/pyparted (1.7.0): Python bindings for parted
[U] sys-apps/parted (1.6.23@06.02.2006 -> 1.7.1-r1): Create, destroy, resize, check, copy partitions and file systems
[U] sys-apps/qtparted (0.4.4@06.02.2006 -> 0.4.5): nice Qt partition tool for Linux
[N] sys-block/gparted (0.3.1): Gnome Partition Editor

And emerge qtparted (to 0.4.5) gives me this message:
...
checking for int... (cached) yes
checking size of int... (cached) 4
checking for short... (cached) yes
checking size of short... (cached) 2
checking for long... (cached) yes
