We are lacking paranormal skills, sorry. At minimum post info about your hardware, kernel version and attach kernel .config. Created attachment 102958 [details]
kernel config file
Gentoo bug wranglers are always so kind and gentle. Here is some more information. # uname -a Linux localhost 2.6.16-suspend2-r8 #2 PREEMPT Sun Sep 3 20:07:43 EDT 2006 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.86GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux We don't support suspend2-sources - http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-kernel.xml#doc_chap3 If you can reproduce the issue w/ latest version of some supported kernel, then reopen this bug. And, by hardware info I meant relevant information about your hardware, not uname -a. Previous comment should be marked as "reopen bug" See Comment #4 ... I thought that suspend2 was a patchset for suspending, and did not alter basic acpi functionality. Are you saying that the suspend2 patches have messed up acpi?? Should I report this to the suspend2 maintainers? |
