Yes, unmerge coldplug (and read the ChangeLog before filing bugs). *** Bug 156454 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** For some more informations: http://www.mail-archive.com/gentoo-user@lists.gentoo.org/msg46630.html http://www.driverheaven.net/archive/index.php/t-98486.html sys-apps/coldplug (and sys-apps/hotplug, as it seems, but I guess you should keep it until it is eliminated just like coldplug -or can we remove it now?) is not needed anymore. The newer versions of udev do the job. (This is not written in the ChangeLog, by the way... they just say coldplug conflicts with udev, not that you can safely remove coldplug, and it is not needed anymore...). *** Bug 156719 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
