g95 is a fortran 95 compiler. It's an opensource alternative to gfortran (included in gcc4.*) and it works better imho.
It would be nice to see it included inside portage tree

I know that I'm asking it without even providing an ebuild... still I'd like to make you know about this software and I hope you'll consider it
