full merge log
I noticed there is a segfault near the beginning of the log, I'm not sure it's directly related but it can't be good.
can you change your locale to english and try again? I can't read/interpret what the error messages say. (In reply to comment #2) > can you change your locale to english and try again? I can't read/interpret > what the error messages say. > Hrmmm, I just did a emerge --resume and it went along nicely without any failure, nor segfault at the beginning of the merge... I don't know what to say. Sorry for the localized messages at the end of the log. As there's very few of them, here follows a rough translation. However, the segfault at the beginning of the log is probably the more important bit. The lines beginning by "make[1] : entrant dans le repertoire ..." or "make[2] :quittant le repertoire..." are just the usual "entering directory" and "leaving directory" messages of a recursive make. The lines matching this pattern : Makefile:900: attention : écrasement des commandes pour la cible clean-bcheck Makefile:863: attention : anciennes commandes ignorées pour la cible 'clean-bcheck' mean : "warning : overwriting commands for target 'clean-bcheck' "warning : former commands ignored for target 'clean-bcheck' Finally, "make[2]: *** Pas de règle pour fabriquer la cible « all ». Arrêt." means : "No rule to make target 'all'. Quitting" I believe that's all the utf-8 french you'll find in there ;-) (In reply to comment #2) > can you change your locale to english and try again?
