Description crusaderky 2006-11-18 03:08:06 UTC
I've got
xorg-x11-7.1
beryl-0.1.2
nvidia-drivers-1.0.9629
GeForce FX5600

When the beryl windows manager is active, if I switch to console (Ctrl+Alt+F1) and then back to X (Alt+F7), X freezes completely, including the input, thus forcing me to reboot (or kill X via ssh).

This happens both with AIGLX or the nvidia drivers acceleration.

I'm not sure if this is a nvidia issue or not, with my intel card I can do a switch to any term and then back to my x session and it will come back fine. I've tried this with your versions, and flags from the other bug but have not been able to reproduce the crash. 0.1.3 is going to be coming out soon, so hopefully that will fix it for you. At this time I don't have the same ability to reproduce this as I've tried for a few days and I've switched back and forth about 5 times while writing this reply.
