I'm not sure how to classify this bug, but it is awfully evil. I have Firefox setup to accept opening links from external applications - Thunderbird being the most common.

Today, I tried this link from within Thunderbird:

WARNING: For me, Firefox went absolutely *ballistic* opening new tabs faster than I could close them, with Firefox eventually crashing. I've been able to re-produce this curious event numerous times.

FWIW: I have Firefox setup to open links from external apps in a new tab by default. I just thought this behavior was really not like Firefox.

Shrug... works fine here. Unless you can give us *exact* steps to reproduce the issue, then there's nothing we could do here.
