stabilization of cmake is fine with me. feel free to go for it! Err Lars how soon do you want it stabled? It's still masked here, I thought it wasn't ready for prime time yet? metalgood removed the package.mask for cdrkit, so we have it in ~arch now. For the time-calculation I think it would be a nice christmas-present to have cdrkit stable by then ;-) yes. Archteams please stabilize 2.4.3 Can't you do some dodoc ninja magic in src_install instead of the mv? feel free to do that if it is important for you amd64 stable It's important to QA. It should be possible to run the install step multiple times without re-running the unpack. =] x86: emerge is fine, compilation is fine and cmake seems to work properly. I am getting this in the log: INFO: test Self tests broken =================== Portage 2.1.1-r1 (default-linux/x86/2006.0, gcc-4.1.1, glibc-2.4-r4, 2.6.18-gentoo-r2 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.18-gentoo-r2 i686 Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz Gentoo Base System version 1.12.6 Last Sync: Wed, 29 Nov 2006 01:50:01 +0000 app-admin/eselect-compiler: [Not Present] dev-java/java-config: [Not Present] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5-r2, 2.4.3-r4 dev-python/pycrypto: 2.0.1-r5 dev-util/ccache: [Not Present] dev-util/confcache: [Not Present] sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.17 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.60 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r2 sys-devel/binutils: 2.16.1-r3 sys-devel/gcc-config: 1.3.13-r4 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.22 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.17-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O3 -pipe -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/share/X11/xkb /usr/share/logwatch /var/www/localhost/htdocs/cacti/include" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/env.d /etc/gconf /etc/revdep-rebuild /etc/terminfo" CXXFLAGS="-O3 -pipe -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig collision-protect distlocks metadata-transfer sandbox sfperms strict test" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://ftp.belnet.be/mirror/rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo/ http://linuv.uv.es/mirror/gentoo/ http://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/gentoo/" LANG="en_US" LC_ALL="en_US" LINGUAS="en" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_RSYNC_OPTS="--recursive --links --safe-links --perms --times --compress --force --whole-file --delete --delete-after --stats --timeout=180 --exclude='/distfiles' --exclude='/local' --exclude='/packages'" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 X acpi alsa apache2 berkdb bitmap-fonts bzip2 cli cracklib crypt dlloader dri eds elibc_glibc emboss encode fam foomaticdb gdbm gif gnome gstreamer gtk gtk2 iconv imlib input_devices_keyboard input_devices_mouse isdnlog jpeg kernel_linux libg++ libwww linguas_en mad mikmod mmx motif mp3 mpeg ncurses nls nptl nptlonly ogg pam pcre perl png pppd python qt3 qt4 quicktime readline reflection samba sdl session snmp spl sse sse2 ssl svg tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts udev usb userland_GNU video_cards_fglrx vorbis xml xorg zlib" Unset: CTARGET, EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS, INSTALL_MASK, LDFLAGS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS cmake-2.4.3 works fine for me on two x86 boxes. despite "* Self tests broken" it passed all tests and i was able to emerge and use sci-visualization/paraview-2.4.4 and sci-libs/vtk-5.0.1. x86 has been made ppc64 stable ppc done during bugzie's outtime sparc stable. Stable on Alpha. Adding HPPA if they want to profit from a stable app-cdr/cdrkit later this month. Stable for HPPA. mips, ping! Went on ahead w/ 2.4.6, per Bug #182724. Leaving this one as WONTFIX. |
