The NFSv3 server and client only support the first 16 groups assigned to a user.   This is the source of a lot of grief for small implementations as the symptoms are not intuitive (i.e. files, seemingly in a random fashion, are not accessible).
Is this a limitation of the protocol or the current (version 3) implementation?  Hopefully it's just an implementation issue and can be corrected.

Kernel version is 2.6.18-gentoo-r2 and nfs-utiles is 1.0.6-r6

To reproduce this problem, presumably on any platform, simply:
1) Set up NFSv3 server/client.
2) Create a user and add them to 17 groups (in GID order).
3) Make a file/folder owned by another user, but which the user should be able to access via the 17th group they've been assigned.
4) They will be (wrongfully) denied access.

(I won't be providing additional information as I think it is moot in regards to this bug)

Don't restrict bugs without any reason. Just leave the checkboxes alone.
