Today me install mysql-4.1.21 and all work fine, but i think this bugreport be useful

Do not understand, but in than is concluded convenience if package is not compiled and location in stable branch?

We don't support mysql-3.23, period. It's for legacy users with no-nptl profiles that can't upgrade for whatever weird reason. Not supported security or compile-wise, nothing to be fixed here.

Please, don't reopen this bug, we won't be fixing anything there.
