Ferret is a high-performance, full-featured text search engine library written for Ruby. It is inspired by Apache Lucene Java project.

This is my first submitted ebuild, so if something is not done properly please let me know.

Hi Joe,
I have some comments for your ebuild:
 - Please use skel.ebuild as template. Your ebuild currently lacks  necessary comments lines (including copyright line)
 - Please keyword only arch you have tested. Don't you stable ones such as x86 and amd64. It will be stablized later.
 - Let me know this ebuild is for which ferret version. It's been long since the bug was opened. I hope it could work with latest ferret version 
 - I'm not sure if ferret works only with ruby 1.8 and not later. Can you confirm that?

After updating the ebuild, please reopen the bug.
