Description Mike Hobbs 2006-11-07 07:47:08 UTC
Hello,

After running my gentoo box happily since 2005.1 I decided it was time to update it. I thought I had updated all the major bits and pieces and was ready to run emerge --update --deep world (naturally I did this first with --pretend and resolved any potential blocked packages/conflics).

Halfway through (98 of 235) when getting ready to merge iso-codes it threw this error:
~~~~~~code begins~~~~~~
Ok, so I look at the .out file as recommended, it says:
~~~~~code begins~~~~~
***** aclocal *****
am-wrapper: /usr/bin/aclocal-1.10 is missing or not executable.
            Please try emerging the correct version of automake.

Hmm, let's check the version of automake etc,

Not sure where to go from here, I'll probably manage to get round it but thought it's probably good to let you guys know just in case it is a real bug rather than me doing unorthadox things., Oh here's the output of emerge --info as requested on the Bugzilla form
