Description Bernhard Frauendienst 2006-11-03 14:17:34 UTC
I just tried to fetch a package for a ebuild in development (using ebuild fetch), and it failed because the download from sourceforge failed on the first mirror, and wget saved the file with "?download&failedmirror=nchc.dl.sourceforge.net" appended to the filename.

The SRC_URI used in the ebuild is "mirror://sourceforge/${PN}/${P}-bin.tar.gz"

I tried a few more times and finally got a working mirror on first try, the file got saved just right in this case.

A possible solution would be to use the --output-document flag to wget to specify the filename outfront (basename of the SRC_URI item).
