Well, there is an open bug #103212 and upstream doesn't release new versions but only refers to aria2 which is already in the tree.
Since the package is orphaned, please remove it.

Well, aria2 doesn't have a gui (yet).
But upstream doesn't support it anymore and it depends on gtk+-1.2*
