post a full build log as an attachment emerge gcc >& log FWIW, this was discussed on the amd64 list before bugging. The gmane URL for the top of the thread is: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.gentoo.amd64/9631 (I'm curious what the resolution will be so am CCing myself and thought I might as well add this note while I was at it.) (In reply to comment #1) > post a full build log as an attachment > > emerge gcc >& log > The log is about 9MB, so I can't attach it here. You can download the file from: http://lizardslounge.org/files/gcc-emerge.log it's called compression :P run bzip2 and post it Created attachment 100728 [details]
emerge log (compressioned!)
Emerge log attached. Is this still a problem? (In reply to comment #7) > Is this still a problem? > Not for me. I was never able to determine the cause, though, and eventually did a clean install, then restored /etc and /home. Have not seen it since. |
