GCC ebuild fails with "ACCESS VIOLATION" on /usr/lib64/crt1.o.  This occurs both on 4.1.1 and 4.1.1-r1.

Not for me.  I was never able to determine the cause, though, and eventually did a clean install, then restored /etc and /home.  Have not seen it since.
