I use ca_enhanced xkb layout and i need to use dead keys (a special key combo) to type  
special characters (ASCII 0x80 to 0x90) used in french language.  Theses key combos works in 
all apps i use (kde, gnome, X) except openoffice. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Layout = "ca_enhanced" in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/X0-config.keyboard 
2. Restart your X server, you will have some fun if you are used to us layout :-) 
3. Launch any openoffice app (oowriter, oocalc, etc) 
4. Try to type any of those characters (

I got (c,e,a,e,e,a,A,i,a) 

Expected Results:  
Im supposed to be able to type those characters used in french language 
 (ç,è,à,ê,ë,â,Ä,î,ä) 

From "emerge -s openoffice

I've done emerge sync on 2003/02/08 and then, i've emerged openoffice-bin

you wanna try this with oepnoffice 1.0.2?
