You need format detection enabled to work on files that implement an internal playlist. That will fix it, otherwise audacious gets in a loop when trying to detect the filetype and it hangs until the playlist gets too big and then the program runs out of memory. - nenolod Do not disable detection by format on subsong-capable formats. This option was only implemented for people that feel that 35.000 song playlists should load within seconds and is not recommended for daily use. If I continue to get bug reports of this nature I might remove or otherwise deactivate it. thanks! that fixed it. maybe you should write some warning near "detect file format on demand" checkbutton? |
