rcc patches for portage
1/ Never attach tarballs please. 2/ xmms doesn't need any patches as it will be removed from the tree (see Bug 152472) Please, attach plaintext patches and explain a bit better, don't quite understand what's this about. This is rcc project (lib) and its apples for misc progs, which allows users to auto-detect text-encoding and encode text on the fly from different encodings... This is comes from rusXMMS and develops now not only for xmms. It alsow adds ability for misc gtk1 (and not only) apps to work with utf8 too many changes to post with text forms ;( app-arch/unzip app-dicts/libtranslate app-i18n/gtk1-utf8 app-i18n/librcc app-i18n/librcd media-libs/id3lib media-libs/taglib media-plugins/xmms-mpg123 media-sound/ moc mpg123 xmms zinf net-ftp/gftp thats why I add tarbal ;( If you have specific patches for something, file a separate bug for that one package (preferably this should go upstream, as it's not a Gentoo job to add features, we are packaging the stuff and distributing it.) xmms and xmms-mpg123 are package.masked pending removal, zinf has been removed. Moreover, gtk-1* is unsupported upstream as well. Anyway, such generic bug won't go anywhere, closing this. Thanks. |
