Tell upstream that 4 > 1 and their versioning change is completely retarded. Nothing we could do until the 1.x series gets stabilized and the other ebuilds removed. *** Bug 157458 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 164853 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This is not a rosegarden problem. The version number didn't have a 4 before it. The name of the program seemed to be Rosegarden4 and that's what changed. So, in reality, Gentoo people should just change the ebuilds, or otherwise are probably confusing a lot of users. (In reply to comment #4) > This is not a rosegarden problem.
