Update ebuild to use adodb already installed
Require php with socket in need for ping, see log:

10/08/2006 07:56:07 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] WARNING: sockets support not enabled in PHP, falling back to SNMP ping

I check this update in 3 servers and run fine

Thank you for report Francisco. I've asked upstream and they told me that they'll support external adodb. But I'll made this optional (USE flag bundled-adodb) in case somebody do not want to install adodb. I'll add updated ebuild as soon as adodb became accessible on hppa.

hppa: could you, please, keyword dev-php/adodb?
Comment 4 Guy Martin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-27 13:21:49 UTC
adodb is stable on hppa.
Comment 5 Peter Volkov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-27 15:14:21 UTC
Fixed in cacti-0.8.6j-r3.
