Bug 152286 – sys-libs/uclibc-0.9.28 emerge destroys the system (do not put new libraries in /lib)

Re-emerging sys-libs/uclibc-0.9.28 in a chrooted environment, it happened a very bad thing, during the install part of emerge, /lib/libuClibc-0.9.28.so and so on disappeared, so emerge stopped, and I couldn't chroot again in this partition, so I tried to do the same emerge from my system specifing ROOT="/mnt/gentoo/" and "PORTAGE_CONFIGROOT="/mnt/gentoo/", but the emerge process just don't put nothing in /lib, leaving the system unusable.
In this case it's not very dangerous because i was just installing and configuring a new system, but if someone did it with his/her system or server (I have got, for example, an uclibc-based server) his/her system would crashed without the ability to restart it.

Here is my emerge --info as I could keep it, because the system is not chrootable yet, you can see my command:

you failed to set up the env properly for the emerge so of course it failed to install the way you expected

Ok you are right, i did overwrite my make.conf bringing the conf from a stage3-i686. (urgh)
