Hello, I noticed that even if i have no space left on /usr, Portage will try to copy stuff from sandbox to live-system. And there will be a lot of "!!! [Errno 28] No space left on device" errors. It isn't a problem, but it would be nicer if it stopped the process on the first error. Regards, Väinö Järvelä (Kaali) and/or calculated the needed space before starting the merge and if not enough space was found to die using a message like 'not enough space on your partition, please make room and then run ebuild <ebuild> qmerge' ... of course this might be tricky with ppl who mount /usr and other weird mounts ... SpanKY: this feature is requested in a very old bug martin: then mark it as a dup Portage stops now and displays the exception causing the stop. |
