Description Piotr Stachura 2006-10-20 11:44:29 UTC
It's a specyfic bug. When I try to put local character, konqueror switch from file rename to address bar.
Steps to reproduce (I'm using polish kb layout):
1. Change to list view in konqueror.
2. Start renaming file.
3. Write "special" character that uses "alt" key, ie. ł (alt+l)
4. Try to write some other BIB "special" character, ie. Ł (alt+shift+l) - when I pressed alt+shift konqueror switch to address bar.
This issue is only for list view!

Did you tried to check :
Settings->Konqueror Stettings-> Charachters types->standard codes
(sorry for the retranslation, is the last option at bottom of the
charachters types dialog)?????

For the future, please, these kind of issues are to report in the forum first,
and when you need to report here please specify the versions of all the apps
involved......

Ok, sorry I close this bug and open topic on forum (polish section).
Info for "Matteo Azzali":
I can't find that option but mayby it's this same:
Preferences->Konqueror:preferences->fonts->standard encoding (is set to utf-8)
Affected is only konqueror;)
