did you forget to re-edit /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask after updating the tree with emerge [r]sync? this is the expected behaviour in such a case. Nope, because I never edited it in the first place. I do have ~x86 in my ACCEPT_KEYWORDS though. 1) how did you install xchat-2 ? 2) sh> grep xchat /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask Just an emerge rsync and emerge -u world #grep x86 /usr/portage/net-irc/xchat/xchat-2.0.0_pre1-r1.ebuild [...] KEYWORDS="~x86 ~ppc ~sparc ~alpha" |
