i had collisions upgrading x11-drm from the 20050502.ebuild to the 20060608 one.
Unfortunately, i have lost the list of files.

Solution: i suppose removing "collision-protect" from FEATURES would help some, but then removing the earlier version would remove the said files from the new version too?
I simply unmerged the old version prior to installing the new one. BTW, i do not know why the package is slotted.

The current versions are not slotted any more, and it really doesn't make sense. I'd suggest to slotmove the remaining ones to slot 0 as well.

None of the versions in portage now have any SLOTting.
