Hardware: x86
OS: Linux

Runtime testing required: ---

Description Eric Sellers 2003-02-03 13:25:07 UTC
Basicly xine does not compile in (one of the patches you add disables it)
Which means no video previews in konqueror

If you manually untar kdemultimedia-3.1 and run configure you will see xine listed
But if you run ebuild kdemultimedia-3.1.ebuild unpack and run configure
something has patched it to remove the xine options

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. listed above in details
2.
3.

Expected Results:
one of the patches must revert to an older configure script?
not sure.

It looks like its only patching the midi stuff but somehow its overwritting the configure script

KDE_REMOVE_DIR="xine_artsplugin" is set, this removes the xine_artsplugin dir after unpacking
source.

bug #14797 is also about xine & kdemultimedia. marking as duplicate.
